We recommend Gusto microfibre ( replicating Nubuc but much stronger and easier to take care of then natural) water repellent fabric. It's a very nice in touch breathable and durable fabric. It's purpose is to imitate natural nubuk but the results are much better - it's easy to clean and what's more when it comes to spillages it doesn't allow moisture to go through the surface of the sofa saving what's inside.
