A Cool Gel memory foam mattress topper is the single change that makes the biggest difference to how a sofa bed sleeps. Five centimetres of gel infused foam sit over the folding mechanism, even out the surface and take the pressure off hips and shoulders.

Ours are cut to the exact sleeping areas of our sofa beds and chair beds, from 70 x 200cm up to 150 x 200cm, so the topper lies flat with no overhang. It rolls away in the morning and stores in its box or inside a storage footstool.

Match the topper to the sleeping area of your sofa bed, not the width of the sofa. Chair beds take 70 x 200cm, small doubles take 120 x 200cm, doubles take 140 x 200cm, king size models take 150 x 200cm and the Mocca Mini Corner takes 150 x 180cm. If your sleeping area measures 205cm long, choose the 200cm length: it sits centrally and the small margin disappears once the sheet is on. Full details are on the mattress topper page.

If you already own one of our sofa beds and want to add a matching footstool, select the same fabric and colour option when ordering.
