Premium Protection for your Furniture

Enjoy peace of mind with a 5-year Premium Product Protection Insurance Plan to help extend the useful life of your furniture and reduce disruption to your home.

If your furniture is accidentally damaged, stained or faulty – this insurance will take care of repairing or replacing your furniture.

Should the unexpected happen and you need to make a claim, you'll have:

  • Expert support from our claims handlers
  • A technician over to your home to assess and repair your item, if they can
  • If not, you'll receive a like-for-like replacement, or be reimbursed to the financial value of the item
  • No excess/charges for you to pay

How Do I Get Product Protection?

Product Protection may be included with your purchase at no additional cost, or you may have the option to add it to your cart when purchasing an eligible item.

  • If product protection is included, this will be explicitly stated on the product page.
  • If product protection is not included but available for purchase, you will have the option to add it to your order from the product page.
  • If neither applies and there is no option to add product protection, the item is not insurable under this scheme.

What's Covered

This insurance protects your furniture from accidental stains, accidental damage, and structural defects.

Damage

Accidental Damage

Covers occurrences such as rips, tears and burns:

  • Rips, tears, burns
  • Scuffs, scratches, and punctures
  • Breakage, dents, chips, and scratches that penetrate the surface finish
  • Glass or mirror breakage during normal use
  • Damage caused by pets (up to three claims)
Stains

Accidental Stains

Shields against unexpected spills from household substances:

  • Food and drinks
  • Ink, paint, and dye
  • Human and pet bodily fluids
  • Cosmetics, soap, and shampoo
  • Wax, polish, glue and superglue
  • Acids, bleaches, and corrosive substances
  • Water, liquid, or heat marks
Structural

Structural Defects

Safeguards against flaws after the manufacturer's warranty expires:

  • Frame defects like breakage or warping
  • Peeling finishes; recliner defects
  • Metal component bending and breakage
  • Broken zips, castors, and buttons
  • Seam and stitching separation
  • Leather hide lifting or peeling

What's Not Covered

Normal wear and tear
Damage in transit and pre-delivery of the item
Commercial use
Manufacturing faults
Third-party contractor-related damage
System failures, e.g. plumbing and electrical
Deliberate damage or improper cleaning

Are There Any Restrictions?

  • You must be a UK resident and at least 18 years old
  • Your item must be kept in your permanent UK residence
  • Only included where explicitly stated on the item description

Anything Else?

Cover will only start once you have received your item.

You will be emailed your IPID and Policy Wording once your order is received.

Following delivery, you will receive your Policy Schedule which forms your contract of insurance.

Follow their recommended cleaning methods or use the approved cleaning kit.
